Bibliotherapist or community writer?

This interest is to be welcomed and applauded - the work done by artists within health settings has for too long been dismissed as merely discretionary, or worse still, upsetting. Australia Council funded writer-in-residence Fiona Place examines the use of literature in therapeutic communities. Informed by social semiotics her perspective is unique.
